Developed in 2014, the Los Angeles Times High School Insider program fosters a community of young readers, thinkers and storytellers to amplify and develop their voices on the issues that matter.

Every year, students from schools across Southern California attend our annual fall conference held on a college campus in the Los Angeles area.

High School Insider presents the Festival of Books Young Adult Stage, introducing each panel, fielding questions from the audience and empowering the audience of teens to be a part of the conversation.
